FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How is my SIM card delivered?

Your SIM card is a physical card that we post to you by Royal Mail. Please allow a few days for delivery after your order is placed. Make sure your delivery address is correct at checkout.

Do the SIM cards come with credit?

All our SIM cards are supplied with zero credit. You will need to top up yourself before making calls or sending texts. This is standard for Pay As You Go SIM cards.

Why do I need to top up before porting my number?

Each network requires a minimum top-up before they will issue a PAC code, which is needed to transfer (port) your memorable number to a different provider. The minimum top-up amounts are:

  • EE: £5 top-up, then text PAC to 65075
  • Lebara: £5 top-up, then text PAC to 65075
  • Vodafone: £5 top-up, then text PAC to 65075
  • Network Three: £5 top-up, then text PAC to 65075
  • O2: £10 top-up, then text PAC to 65075
  • Tesco Mobile: £10 top-up, then text PAC to 65075

Once you have your PAC code, give it to your new provider and they will handle the transfer.

Can I port my number to the same network?

No — PAC codes only cover porting to a different provider. You cannot move a number from, say, Lebara to another Lebara account.

How do I keep my number active?

Once topped up, you must carry out a chargeable event — such as making a phone call or sending a text — at least once every 90 days. If no chargeable event occurs within 90 days, the network may reclaim the number. Setting a calendar reminder every two to three months is a simple way to stay on top of this.

What is your returns policy?

Due to the nature of memorable mobile numbers, we are unable to accept returns unless the product is faulty. If you receive a faulty SIM card, please contact us and we will resolve the issue promptly.
